I originally wrote this without Draak's line. When I was putting it together, I thought I could use something to fill up the white space between the fairly sparse dialogue that forms the main point of the joke.
So I used a technique of having a main thread of dialogue, with Draak providing a "background noise" that is essentially unrelated to the dialogue around it, and which is mildly amusing in its own right.
