Comic #1674

1 Serron: We're going to die!
1 Iki Piki: We are not going to die.
2 Iki Piki: Look, these future versions of us clearly exist, so we must live in order to become them some time in the future.
3 Serron 2: Should we tell them?
3 Iki Piki 2: No, best to let them live in naïve hope.
4 Serron: Now you're just messing with our minds!
4 Serron 2: Would we do that?
4 Serron: I would!

Beware trying to apply logic where time travel is concerned.

2018-01-24 Rerun commentary: There's the story about the man who meets his future self, who has travelled back in time.

The man from the present figures, "This is me from 50 years in the future. That means I must live at least another 50 years. In other words, I can't die!"

He decides to go out and test this proposition... and gets hit by a train.

At the man's funeral, his grandfather takes off the mask and says, "It was just meant to be a joke!"
