Comic #343

1 [sound]: {Policeman knocking} Knock! Knock!
2 Policeman: Would you happen to be the King of Nigeria?
2 Steve: Actually, yes, I am. Why? Who are you?
3 Policeman: Interpol. We understand you've been mass-mailing illegal 419 scams. You're under arrest.
4 Steve: Crikey!

This idea has been waiting for quite a while, since it was originally suggested by Peter Murray.

2012-12-03 Rerun commentary: 419 scams are infamous for originating in Nigeria. In fact the slightly odd name "419 scam" comes from section 419 of the Nigerian criminal code.

I like that the police officer qualifies them as "illegal" 419 scams. As opposed to the legal sort.
