Comic #633

1 {scene: a corridor back in the Jamaican Colonial Office}
1 Stud: Thanks for taking me to Strangways' place. I'm off to the docks to find this Quarrel chap now.
2 Pleydell-Smith: To find out what he knows about Strangways and where he took him on his "fishing" trips?
3 Stud: No, I figure if he's a local he probably knows where the good bars are.
4 Stud: Hey, where are you going?
4 Pleydell-Smith: {walking off to his office} To draft a very stern cable to Ñ in London...

Governor's Assistant Mr Pleydell-Smith is of course not a native of Jamaica. It's a colonial government posting, controlled from England.

2013-11-06 Rerun commentary: I think some of the characters say Ñ's code name as "N-tilde", while some people say it as "Nya".

I don't think any say it as "enye".
