You're either laughing or saying, "What? I don't get it."

I'm not going to bother explaining it for those in the latter category, because it won't be funny and will simply confirm that I and many of the readers of this strip waste too much time on the Internet.

If you want a reference for private research, there is, inevitably, a Wikipedia article for you. If it hasn't been deleted yet for lack of notability (there's a tentative non-notable tag on there now as I type this, four weeks ago). That's how lame the subject of this comic is, really.
