1 Jamie: We're finally back. Write a note to ourselves about Elvis before we drink and return to our normal state of knowledge.
1 Adam: Got it. {writing a note and putting it on the workbench}
2 [sound]: Slurp! Slurp!
3 Adam: Hey, what's this note on the bench? "Elvis is alive. No, trust us. Really."
4 Jamie: Piff! It's a hoax. How can we possibly test that myth?

I reckon someone should submit this is a myth for the real world MythBusters to test on their show. They do take suggestions from their viewer forums...

I wonder how they'd go about it? I'm pretty sure explosives would be involved somehow.

2019-11-17 Rerun commentary: For some reason I have Jamie drinking from a saucepan rather than a mug. I'm wondering if at the time I made this comic I only had one Lego mug. It seems somewhat unlikely, because I have several now, but I suppose it's possible.

On the other hand, maybe I deliberately chose a saucepan because it'd look funny. If only I wrote annotations about the comics that explained my quirky thought processes when making decisions like this...
