1 Minnesota Jones: The pyramids were clad in smooth polished limestone, and topped with a granite capstone covered in gold leaf, called the pyramidion.
2 Minnesota Jones: The cladding was later stripped, and the pyramidion stolen. It's a terrible shame.
3 Minnesota Jones: So much about the pyramids has been lost to time. The pyramidion is just the tip of the iceberg.
4 Prof. Jones: You mean the tip of the pyramid. And I don't think they used ice - it would have melted.

There are a few extant pyramidions from some of the other pyramids in Egypt. The Egyptian Museum in Cairo has four of them on display. But the pyramidions of all of the three Great Pyramids of Giza are all missing.

Finding them would make a cool plot for a Cliffhangers type adventure... Hmmm...
