Lambert: Okay, whatever. My turn. A monster starting with M... um... Mimic.
Mordekai: “Mimic” is a stupid name for a monster. It’s not a name, it’s just what it does.
Lambert: What, like ear seeker, intellect devourer, mind flayer, piercer, roper, trapper, or shambling mound?
Mordekai: Exactly! Man, whoever came up with all those had no creativity whatsoever.

Although Gary Gygax "borrowed", to put it euphemistically, reams of material from various sources when writing up the Dungeons & Dragons rules, I think one would be hard pressed to argue that synthesising it all into the ground-breaking and transformative game that he developed was a result of lack of creativity.
