In my actual space campaign, Serron is played by the same player who plays Kyros in my fantasy campaign. I think the similarity of personality shines through in this dialogue.
I also wanted to allude to the funeral of Spock in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, in which his body is fired out a torpedo tube to the strains of Amazing Grace.
