In our years of playing Dungeons & Dragons, my brother and I formulated the theory that all dwarves' names must start with the letters "Dw-".

Ooops! I forgot that Dwalin is the name of one of the dwarves in Tolkien's The Hobbit! I haven't read the book for years and thought I was being original - the name must be stuck in my subconscious somewhere.

2015-09-19 Rerun commentary: Actually, I do have some painted orc miniatures. I like painting orcs, because they have green skin (at least, my ones do), so it's more difficult to visibly muck up than painting human skin tones.

I haven't painted any miniatures for a long time now, though. It takes a long time, and extra time for engaging in even more hobbies is not exactly something I have a surplus of.
