2012-06-18 Rerun commentary: Wow. Meta-LEGO gag. I think this is the only time I ever did that, except perhaps one or two strips in the James Stud theme.

This is still the blue tablecloth here standing in as the ocean.

Today (as I type this annotation), I have just disassembled the pirate ship for the first time since I put it together right after buying it. It had been sitting on the TV cabinet for the past nine years.

I think my wife is silently glad to see it go.
