Unfortunately, wanting to keep this strip at least reasonably international, I couldn't use the canonical fun fair foods of fairy floss and Dagwood dogs.

Actually, I think we should start a campaign to have everyone in the world call it fairy floss. I don't mind about the dogs so much, but fairy floss is too cool to lose. Think about the literal meaning.

Fairy. Floss.

Isn't that much cooler than the other names?

2022-12-10 Rerun commentary: In hindsight, I don't think four "around"s in Paris's statement in the second panel is quite enough. Five would have been better.

Also, I should have had Serron have a deep-fried Mars bar as well.
