Comic #2541

1 Jane Goodall: Okay, I've deciphered most of this time travel spell.
2 Steve: Oooh! Can I say it??
2 Jane Goodall: Sure. What could possibly go wrong?
3 Terry: You're kidding, right?
4 Jane Goodall: Yeah. I'm hoping an eldritch horror will manifest and eat him.

"What could possibly go wrong?" - I can't believe I've only used this phrase twice before in strips.

It seems like a good stock line for half the characters.

2023-12-17 Rerun commentary: "What could possibly go wrong?" is a sentence that gets used a lot in my circle of friends.

Often when we're playing Dungeons & Dragons and someone comes up with a cool plan for their characters to attempt.
