2 Long Tom: I be seein' the whole British fleet at anchor. What a sight that be bein'.
3 Long Tom: It be makin' one be feelin' somewhat introspective.
4 Dirque: Be he givin' us any commands?
4 Wendy: Nay. He just be naval-gazin'.

I realise that in 1940 the entire British fleet was not in fact harboured at Plymouth, but much of it was based there at HMNB Devonport.

One can only imagine what Captain Long Tom Short thinks of 20th century battleships.
