The background seen through the airport windows here is a photo I took of the sunrise at Sydney airport. Yeah, it's no fun having to be at the airport that early.
What was even more interesting though was the taxi driver who took me there. The whole trip, he kept complaining about how mechanically bad his taxi was. He said he'd had it in the workshop several times in the past few months for engine problems. And now he thought the brakes were acting a bit funny...
Yeah, I was fairly happy to see this particular sunrise.
