Yep, I changed the punchline of this one too during construction, after I wrote the original on the plane.
The fourth panel originally just had Dwalin saying: "Och! Some guard she turned out to be! I knew an elf'd ne'er do a decent job o' keepin' watch!"
I realised that the joke in my head probably wasn't obvious enough, so rejigged it.
