The words "manyfold" and "manifold" look very similar, and have related meanings:
"Manyfold" means "by many times" or "many times over".
"Manifold" means (among several other meanings[1]) "multiple" or "numerous".
So you could have manifold (i.e multiple) practice sessions, to increase your skill level manyfold (i.e. many times over) - but not the other way around.
