I actually have had a guy try to sell me "cheap" hi-fi speakers from the back of a van once. If memory serves right, it was on Pitt Street in the city - which for those who don't know Sydney is basically the second most major street through the middle of the city. (It's so major that the Wikipedia article is merely titled "Pitt Street", without a disambiguator saying which city it refers to.)

I've never had the opportunity to buy swampland or a bridge though.
