Is there a trope for when a character who up to this point has been completely und utterly imperturbable, taking everything in their stride no matter how strange or ominous, suddenly cracks and demonstrates normal human frailty, thus demonstrating just how far beyond ridiculous/dangerous the current situation is?

After a quick search, Not So Stoic seems close.
