Pirate verb conjugation is tricky when different tenses get involved.

I initially wrote: " There be an even better reason to be givin’ yer father back some of the silver we looted from him."

Then I realised I should probably make "looted" into Pirate speak. I initially thought "be lootin’ from him", but that didn't sound past tense enough, so I settled on "been lootin’ from him".

I also considered: "... fer bein’returnin’ stolen property!" and "... other than bein’ holdin’ him at sword-point." but decided that way bes lyin’ madness.
