Comic #5304

1 Terry: Another viewer wants to know how to tell the difference between freshwater and saltwater crocodiles.
2 Steve: Crikey! The easiest way is to go swimming with ’em! A freshie will swim away, but a saltie will go for you like a seagull after hot chips!
3 Terry: Isn’t that a risky way to tell species apart?
4 Steve: Yeah! Ain’t biology fun?
4 Terry: Do not try this at home, folks.

I mentioned this fact about Australian crocodile species back in the rerun annotation for strip #217.

Yes, I have in fact been swimming in water with freshwater crocodiles. Not a problem.

You could not offer me enough money to try that with a saltie, though.
