2013-12-21 Rerun commentary: It's an interesting forest, with giant palm leaves. Not what you usually think about when you think of a generic pseudo-medieval fantasy setting.

It would have been nice to get additional LEGO trees for my outdoor sets. I always wanted to get more, but never managed to find any sets of just trees and plants and flowers and stuff, even though such things seem to exist.

If I really wanted to make large models, I would have bought the items I needed from BrickLink or whatever. But for comics I could get by with fairly small sets, so didn't need to accumulate too many specific pieces of scenery.
