Ever since I replaced the Lego space figures with the painted miniatures, people have been telling me they miss the Lego space guys. And I wanted to do some virtual reality, cyberspace, Tron-type stuff without adding yet another theme and slew of new characters... so I thought this might be a good idea.

2012-01-30 Rerun commentary: This cyberspace thing is one of the coolest ideas I came up with for the Space theme. It led to several amusing adventures for the characters. And it's really the start of more story-based comics, rather than disconnected one-off gags. Continuity tends to grow as works of fiction mature and get more of a history behind them.

Maybe I should start a new webcomic which begins with a rich story-based tapestry with a detailed background, and then devolves into disconnected gags with no ongoing story or continuity.
