Comic #1058

1 [caption]: ==Mythbusters== Man vs Shark
2 Jamie: Well Adam, we've pitted a man against a shark to test the myth that great whites are maneaters.
3 Jamie: And the result...?
3 Adam: Given the thrashing we saw in the tank just now... myth confirmed!
4 Steve: {unseen, from tank} Crikey! Let's see you try that without tonsils!
4 Adam: Uh... or maybe not...

Oh, you knew Steve wouldn't die at the hands of something as mundane as a great white shark. If it had hands, that is.

2015-03-17 Rerun commentary: It's a tricky topic to search on, but it appears that only mammals have tonsils, so strictly speaking a shark would not have these organs.
