Comic #1088

1 {scene: The Caribbean island of Crab Key. Quarrel is dragging the rowboat on to the beach, while James Stud supervises.}
1 Stud: So why are the locals afraid of Crab Key, Quarrel?
1 Quarrel: There's a dragon, cap'n.
2 Stud: A dragon? Ho ho ho! I find that hard to believe!
3 Stud: Dragons aren't native to the Caribbean... Although... I suppose Dr No is Chinese. He could have had one imported... Hmmm...
4 Quarrel: Or maybe it's just a tank disguised as a dragon.
4 Stud: Don't be ridiculous!

In the film Dr No, they arrive on Crab Key under cover of darkness. But I didn't want to inflict another night scene on you, so we can assume poor Quarrel had to row the whole way by himself and it took them until dawn.

Those who know the movie may be getting excited about the next scene...

2015-04-21 Rerun commentary: A quick search of Caribbean dragons turned up only Dragon Stout from Jamaica, and possibly a cocktail called a Caribbean Dragon.

One surmises that any actual dragons in the Caribbean region are completely overshadowed by alcoholic beverages.
