Again, I nearly stuck a starfield into the background before I remembered they've landed the ship and are sitting in a docking bay on Lyrane. The background seen through the bridge windows is meant to represent the docking bay interior. It's actually a photo of some rocket engines from a NASA facility. It looked industrial and futuristic enough that I co-opted it.

2015-08-03 Rerun commentary: Wow. It's hard to believe that GURPS 4th edition has been out that long. I was a bit surprised just now to see that 4th edition rule book in this comic from over 9 years ago. I still think that for most of my GURPS playing life I was using the 3rd edition rules.

Although now I think about it... it's getting pretty close.
