2 Terry: Steve, that's a Nile crocodile. They're not as easy to handle as our Aussie crocs.
2 Steve: {sidling over} Can't be that hard...
3 Terry: {throwing up her arms} Oh no! Steve!
3 Steve: {in the mouth of the crocodile} No worries, Terry!...
4 Steve: She's apples! {as he gets chewed on}
4 Terry: I hate to say this, Steve, but I think you're in de-Nile.

2012-04-27 Rerun commentary: Wow, the lighting is harsh in this one.

It was made in June, which is winter, so there was not much daylight. I had to rely on artificial lighting a lot more in the winter months. And at this early stage in the comic, I hadn't properly sorted out my lighting rig for photographing the sets.

In fact, I think for this one I must have used a mirror to reflect light directly onto the set from a low angle, producing the shadows you can see here.
