Comic #141

1 Charity Collector Guy: The campaign for greater community awareness of typewriters is also promoting a blood drive.
2 Steve: Crikey! I'd donate, but I don't think your campaign would want my blood.
3 Charity Collector Guy: Why not?
4 Steve: I'm a type-O.

A follow-up to #135, this was inspired by a comment from Russell J. Hall.

2012-04-11 Rerun commentary: My own blood type is indeed O. And also Rh+. Which makes it bog standard and boring, at least here in Australia. So much so that the blood bank doesn't even want my red blood cells, and prefers it if I donate only plasma, since that way they can extract a greater volume of plasma from me.

Filthy blood-suckers.

Wait, no... they wash their hands a lot and wear rubber gloves.
