A blue towel works surprisingly well as water. Which is, in some sense of the word*, ironic, as a towel is intended to remove water.

Honestly, it is.
Almond croissants are just part of that awesomeness. There are a few bakeries near my place that make brilliant examples. I also like pain au chocolat (a.k.a. chocolate croissants), but I have to admit I've never found one in Sydney that can match some I had on a trip to France. I don't often recommend specific places here, but if you're ever in Nice, you have to try the pain au chocolat at Blanc Boulangerie, first thing in the morning when it's still warm from the oven. Oh myyyy...
