In a place where anything and everything exists, it makes sense to operate on a post-scarcity economy.

Of perhaps the Infinite Featureless Plane of Death is a place where nothing exists, including money, so the idea of any sort of economics is superfluous.

2022-07-17 Rerun commentary: I'm envisioning a scholarly article on the economics of the afterlife. Do people in Heaven do work? Do they get paid? Are there things they can buy? Or do they just get anything they want for free? Do workaholics get to work as much as they want in Heaven? What do they do? Is anyone grateful for their work? Can you give gifts to your fellow Heaven-inhabitants? Where do you get the gifts from?

And then there's the economics of Hell, which is a whole other interesting thing.
