Comic #2516

1 Monty: What are we doing here, Dad? We try to recover ancient artefacts to learn about past civilisations and increase human knowledge.
2 Monty: And we always end up here. Is this what the modern world has come to? Sacrificing the past for personal gains? Greed and tyranny?
3 Monty: I fear dark forces are gathering. A storm of evil the likes of which the world has never seen stands ready to be unleashed.
4 Monty: But here we stand, a few with the knowledge and strength to fight! Yes, that is why we're here!
4 Prof. Jones: Are you going to eat that?

Either it's a very flat sausage or a very big slice of rye bread.

2023-11-12 Rerun commentary: It takes a special skill to inspire yourself with an inspiring speech. I suppose if you're sitting in a cell in Berlin you'd have lots of opportunity to practise.
