Thanks to Glen Barnett for the idea.
Louis Kolkman points out that "Draak" actually means "dragon" in Dutch - interestingly, a fact of which I was not previously aware.
It's the only strip in which it's mentioned.
Draak's friend is a frog-man miniature which I actually adapted for a space campaign by gluing a blaster into his hands. You can see it in the first panel where it kind of looks like a metallic hammer head or something. I positioned the photo so it would be ambiguous as to what this really was. But now you know.
