2024-02-03 Rerun commentary: Hmm. Interesting. There isn't really a punchline-style joke in this comic. What humour there is relies on you knowing that the "splanch" is a fake organ that I've used in several other comics.

So in other words, it's an in-joke. Not least because the splanch is an internal organ.
