I remember the first time I gave a presentation of my work in front of a group of fellow scientists, back when I was a Ph.D. student. It was incredibly intimidating to be standing in front of all these people, many of whom had written papers that I'd read and referenced in my own work.
Imagine what it'd be like staring down a group made of some of the most famous scientists in all history. Dame Jane is made of stern stuff.
