I wonder what sort of pizza that is on Ishmael's shirt. It looks almost like... a Chicago-style deep-dish pizza. Which I've never tried, since I've never been to Chicago (barring a change of planes once at O'Hare Airport), and - researching now online - apparently the first place in Sydney to serve Chicago-style pizza only opened a few months ago.

From my limited reading about this dish online, it's clear that it's somewhat controversial, with many people saying outright that it doesn't qualify as "pizza" - it's something else entirely.
