4 Jane Goodall: I haven’t been this amused since one of my chimps attacked Gary Larson.

I've previously mentioned the story about Jane Goodall and The Far Side cartoonist Gary Larson.

What you may not know about the relationship between Goodall and Larson is that in 1988 Larson visited the Gombe Stream Research Centre in Gombe National Park, Tanzania, at Goodall's invitation. While observing some of the chimps, a particularly belligerent dominant male named Frodo attacked Larson, inflicting bruises and scratches before Larson could escape.
