Comic #4155

1 Bartender: What’ll it be, gentlemen?
1 Minnesota Jones: Two gin and tonics, thanks.
1 Prof. Jones: Two for me, too.
2 Minnesota Jones: We’re archaeologists. We’re looking for a Dr Smith.
3 Bartender: That’s funny. Archaeologists usually look for ancient artefacts.
3 Prof. Jones: Well she’s definitely not ancient.
4 Minnesota Jones: Careful, this is dangerous territory...
4 Prof. Jones: What? Abydos looks perfectly safe to me.

I wondered if the plural of "gin and tonic" should be "gin and tonics" or "gins and tonic" or "gins and tonics".

A quick Google search revealed no fewer than nine different articles on the topic. Almost all agree with Wiktionary, that the most commonly accepted plural is "gin and tonics".
