Comic #4385

1 {scene: Mike’s basement, near the D&D table}
1 Mike: Is there a number we can call for your parents?
1 Dustin: Where’s your hair? Do you have cancer?
2 Lucas: Did you run away? Are you in some kind of trouble?
2 Dustin: How many roads must a man walk down?
3 Dustin: Why is the sky blue? If you were a tree, what kind of tree would you be?
4 Dustin: Why isn’t she answering?
4 Lucas: Because your questions are all stupid??

The sudden scene change from the previous strip also occurs in Stranger Things the TV series - but it occurs between the end of episode 1 and the start of episode 2. Clearly the boys have taken this strange girl back to Mike's place in between. I guess they wanted to get out of that rain as quickly as possible.
