A reader commenting in the forums reminded me that on the cast page for this theme Eleven has hair. Specifically, they said they hadn't seen Stranger Things and "I'm already confused about one thing: why does Eleven have long blonde hair on the cast page but no hair in the strips."
Well, here's at least part of the explanation. The rest of the explanation will have to wait a little longer.
