New comics Mon-Fri; reruns Sat-Sun
1 Dustin: We don’t need the Gem of Seeing. We know the adventure; we know where all the invisible and illusory objects are.
2 Mike: So we avoid fighting the gargoyle, go via the safe statue room, and don’t worry at all about getting the magical treasure?
3 Dustin: Right!
4 Lucas: This is the exact opposite of playing a D&D adventure!

Dungeons & Dragons characters tend to be on the more gung-ho end of the cautious-reckless spectrum than most real people. It does make sense though - these are characters who go adventuring for a living, looking for opportunities to fight monsters and take their loot.
