I pondered whether it should be a sewing circle, a knitting circle, a quilting circle, a writing circle, a book circle, a cooking circle, a music circle, and art circle, or any of a dozen others.
But I decided that sewing is probably the one most commonly referred to as a "circle" rather than simply a "club" or some other term.
