The towel I use for the water for Charon (and the Pirates) is one of the actual hand towels we use at home for drying our hands in the bathroom. Sometimes when I shoot the photos it's clean and sitting in the linen closet, and I take it out, shoot photos, and fold and put it back. But sometimes it's the one currently in use, hanging on a hook on the bathroom. Thankfully it's never been too wet or grotty to use for photos! Although if they were still on the Thames maybe that would be suitable?

Actually, looking it up now, the Thames is now considered one of, if not the cleanest river running through a major city in the world. Impressive!
