This is inspired by a constant lament of one of my friends. He's gone so far as to avoid watching any series on Netflix until it's completed, as in the final season that winds up the story is produced. He says he's been burnt way too many times by getting interested in a new Netflix series only to later learn that it's been cancelled after the season 1 cliffhanger.
