Comic #707

1 Shakespeare: {in Mr Marlowe's office} Mr Marlowe, can I get Mercutio to set up a literature mailing list? Several staff are interested in it.
2 Marlowe: I only want lists if they don't encourage staff to chat with each other about non-work matters on company time.
3 Shakespeare: So the less we use it, the more likely you are to permit it? What if we have a topic nobody wants to talk about?
4 Marlowe: Now that you can have!

The view out Mr Marlowe's office window is my home city of Sydney. I took that photo just a short walk from my place.

2014-01-31 Rerun commentary: This short story arc about office mailing lists may or may not have been inspired by events in my own workplace at the time I originally made these strips, hypothetically speaking.

If anyone asks, you didn't hear it here, folks.
