Comic #758

1 Death of Insanely Overpowered Fireballs: {to Spanners, Serron, and Iki Piki} TO BE HONEST, THIS IS MY FIRST JOB AS FATE. I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHAT TO DO.
2 Clippy the Microsoft Office Assistant: {interrupting usefully} It looks like you're trying to rationalise your existence. Do you need some help with that?
3 Death of Insanely Overpowered Fireballs: AND YOU'RE NOT HELPING! {splats Clippy with his scythe, killing him and spraying blood everywhere}
4 Spanners: Now that's what I call "clip art".

No need to write to thank me. I can hear the cheering from here.

2014-04-01 Rerun commentary: Clip art is pre-made artwork which can be used and reused to illustrate various projects. The name comes from the old practice of physically clipping out artwork from other media, using scissors or a knife, for pasting into new works, though "clip art" now refers almost exclusively to computer graphics image files.

There are large libraries of clip art, both free and commercial, which people can use for their own projects. I've almost certainly used some during the production run of this comic, as it's a very convenient way to get art of specific things. Although much clip art is in a very cartoony style which makes it moderately obvious where it came from.
