The Harry Potter CastStrips in this theme: [First | Latest]
Harry PotterHarry is a schoolkid wizard. His parents were killed by He Who Must Not Be Named when Harry was just a baby. HWMNBN tried to kill Harry too, but the magic blast bounced off Harry's scone and left nothing but a scar. Harry now attends Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he gets into all sorts of trouble, mostly caused by him and his friends ignoring school rules and casting reckless spells they don't understand.
Hermione GrangerHermione is the daughter of Muggles - which for some reason seems to be an acceptable discriminatory term amongst wizards whereas "Mudblood" isn't. Either way, she's a spanking good witch, and always manages to get some sort of magical effect whenever she waves her wand. Now if only she could get the effect to match what she intended, she'd be set. She thinks Harry is cool, and doesn't know why he hangs around with Ron.
Ron WeasleyRon comes from a large and very poor wizarding family, along with his multiple redheaded siblings who also attend Hogwarts. His magic tends to backfire a bit, but he's struggling along with the wizarding classes. Ron thinks Hermione is the smartest person he's ever met, which also says something about his own intellect. Even his scatterbrained owl, Errol, knows better.
Draco MalfoyDraco is the only kid in the entire school with any class or style. His hair is always slicked back and his attire immaculate. He breaks school rules and gets away with murder, but at least he doesn't pretend to be doing anyone any favours when he does so. He's evil, but at least he's the old-fashioned honest sort of evil. He'd probably quake in fear if faced with the real thing, like HWMNBN. |
