2012-01-24 Rerun commentary: Whoa, and yet another new theme! This time with a decent background, thanks to the LEGO set Diagon Alley Shops, which came with a printed cardboard backdrop. Some of the other initial Harry Potter sets also came with different printed backgrounds, which we'll see later on.

The Harry Potter theme never really developed much, and I used it mainly for one-off throwaway gags. The characters never became interesting in their own right or developed proper personalities, probably because they were so overshadowed by J. K. Rowling's own publications throughout the course of the comic.

Probably for the best, really.

Oh, and I suppose this counts me as a Harry Potter fan-fic author?
