Wouldn't you know it, this strip that I made nearly a month ago was the strip queued up for today, the day that Steve Irwin has died.

I feel weird, like I've created some strange alternate reality where Steve Irwin has woken up in a hospital bed, rather than now being the subject of grief and obituaries.

I'd swap my moderate success with this comic for that other reality in an instant.

2016-03-05 Rerun commentary: This was, I think, the strangest and most painful strip update ever to occur in the run of Irregular Webcomic! to date.

Even now, ten years on, it still feels a little bit weird every time I get out the Steve and Terry minifigures.

But honestly, what better tribute than an affectionate parody?
