Comic #1365

1 Nigerian Finance Minister: What if we tax people for donating? Then we could donate to ourselves, tax ourselves, and generate even more money!
2 Nigerian Finance Bureaucrat: Hmmm. Thinking about the mathematics of that, there's just one problem...
3 Nigerian Finance Minister: Yes?
4 Nigerian Finance Bureaucrat: We'd generate so much money we wouldn't be able to store it all!
4 Nigerian Finance Minister: We can offer a share to people if they help us out...

See, there is a good explanation for all those e-mails you get from Nigeria.

2016-05-11 Rerun commentary: Just be glad the Nigerian Finance Ministry never discovered time travel. When you remove the "quick" from "get rich quick", things really start getting out of hand. Especially in terms of the complexity of the mathematics needed to handle it.
