Back when comic #1725 appeared, several people on the forums commented that when Draak described Alvissa's scent by comparing it to the smells of breezy summer days in the forest, they thought he might be harbouring some sort of romantic feelings for her.

That thought had never occurred to me until it was pointed out. So no, it was never my intention to imply anything even remotely like that. But hey, if you prefer to interpret it that way, be my guest.

I don't think a lizard-man/elf romance would work out anyway. While they both like decorating in green, they'd almost certainly disagree on the value of long walks on the beach.
